Try launching an app with all the signing and certs accross three OSes, its insane. Linux is the easy one out, that one was never an issue. GPG with the repo and done. Easy shit on linux side. Apple is retarded with the 99$/yr license but their system is easy enough once you get the dev certs. Windows is the worst of the worst with the signing certs, they buried that shit deep in Azure somewhere. And if you don’t get it right the OS will flag you as malware. It makes deploying release builds of local apps very difficult, as you’re always trying to beat the system so to speak. And if the system flags a part of your code as faulty, fuck you its malware. OSX and Linux are really nice though, and their installer//bundle system is easy. Makes sense OSX is a Unix variant, so if works on say Ubuntu, it’ll mostly work on OSX. Yeah i know some quirks, but its held true for quite some time. And honestly, i may just say fuck it to Windows and support only Linux and OSX.

Not like Windows would give a shit. The fuck is TPM, why do i need secure boot, trusted module is protecting me from who? Is the NSA scared of someone else siphoning the data, cause prism is siphoning my data so who am i protected from here? Protected from my own ability to shitcan MS from my computer? But i dont have to say it, it looks like Microsoft is doing a very good job hanging themselves lately with their pajeet bullshit. Every new OS means new configuration and bundles. Cost to me is not the issue, its the pay to play bullshit scheme that Microsoft uses. Heck tell me right now how to get a trusted CA cert certified by MS? It takes a long time, its not intuitive and it requires too much. I dont want to give you DUNS, you dont need my EIN, just let me fucking sign the damn installer you fucks. And you have to sign every part of the app too! IF you miss something, you’re exectuable will have half its shit deleted by Norton.
