Interfered with the Dakota Access pipeline

Restricted Arctic & offshore drilling areas, and tightened rules on federal land drilling permits

Blocked drilling in parts of Alaska’s Arctic National Wildlife Refuge (ANWR)

Temporarily paused new federal oil & gas leases, then reduced the frequency of lease sales after the pause ended

Cancelled Arctic/Alaskan drilling plans

Expanded scope of environmental review, requiring more analysis of greenhouse gas emissions and of cumulative environmental effects

Put in place the first methane emission limits on oil & gas operations, then expanded those rules massively
