I’ve been testing out Gemma 4 26b4a and it’s really good. It’s the first time a local offline AI model is good enough and interesting to talk to. It’s not just good for information but it’s capable of full on philosophical conversations. And it’s architecture makes it fast on most PCs with enough ram. And it has vision capabilities. Imagine having the entire knowledge of human civilian packaged neatly in a 11-25 gb file that you can talk to and run without the internet and without getting spied on. Why are they letting us peasants have access to such a tool?
