The worst nightmare I’ve ever had isn’t monsters, falling, or getting murdered.

It’s this:

I’m suddenly sitting in my high school classroom, staring at the final exam that decides if I pass high school or not.

I haven’t studied. I don’t know any of the answers. My whole future feels like it’s on the line. I start panicking hard in the dream.

Then I wake up sweating, and the anxiety stays with me the entire day.

Physical danger nightmares do nothing. I just try to survive and forget them.

Not the “I’m failing my high school final exam” nightmare.

This one is pure evil. Realistic as hell and absolutely terrifying.
