I was on my motorcycle (1983 Kawasaki GPz 750) headed to Florida on HWY 10 in Louisiana.

I was going 100 mph tucked down behind the fairing when I see a motorcycle catching up to me in the mirror.

I’m thinking this is a crazy SOB because hes going like 125 mph to catch up to me.

I wait until I know he’s just about beside me and sit up to give Mad Max a thumbs up and a big smile.

Its a Louisiana State Trooper on a big full dress Yamaha! The cop sees the Cali tag and just shakes his head and waves for me to keep going.

What a cool motherfucker. I had a sinking sensation in my stomach when I saw it was a motorcycle cop. Whew! I kept going 100 mph and he fell back.
