I know that God is real. I know that He sent His Son, for me, for you, for anyone who still hears His knock on your door. And even for those who mock Him and have insulated that door. So please come to my fren’s aid with your prayers for blessings and for him to have strength, to feel his Father’s hand upon his brow.

Let me tell you about my fren. He is such a smart ass. And he has not been a perfect man. No, not by a long shot. But he is the best kind of man. He truly cares for all that is good and right. I had the honor of being his confidant. He’s a fighter, but everyone needs a little lifting up. He chased the money, but I know that that wasn’t for the love of it. Well, maybe no, he didn’t chase the money. He chased the challenge of getting it, but I don’t believe it is where his heart lies. He wants this world to be a better place, but, like all of us here, wrestle with the fact it’s gonna take more than words. And that is a heavy burden to bear.

Let our prayers lift him up, Lord. Let our prayers take any fear. Let our prayers be a perfume to God because we come to God by way of Jesus Christ with all humility, adoration, and praise. Dear God in Heaven, speak to your child, your creation, and let him know that he is loved by You. And could he have more good days on this earth to savor all the little things he may not have had the sense or the time to appreciate. Amen.
