Yesterday I was just riding my bike around my neighborhood like I do every afternoon and I saw a mail truck coming up to me. The truck stopped and the driver just stared at me for a few seconds, then her eyes got wide, she hid her face and drove away. I didn’t realize it at first but it was my ex wife. Last time she saw me I was 100lbs heavier and a blackout drunk. Now I’m 14 months sober and have abs at 52 years old. Turns out when you don’t have someone actively pushing your head under water you can actually stay afloat and even make some progress.
