I witnessed a woman playing mindgames with her kids today. Everyone in the family went out to eat at sheetz; the mother LOST HER SHIT because one of the kids ordered some cheesecake. I cannot express to you how much like a dog he was treated. The way she told him to go outside is the exact way one would scold a dog. She made fun of him, bullied him (her own son). He responded very meekly. The dad added in with vague threats. Then she sent him home. The entire time her tone was nothing but disgust and disdain over $5, when the whole family is spending $60-75 to go out to eat. If one thinks for a moment, that means the mother was going through everyone orders to check over them, item by item, instead of the price. You’re at a gas station restaurant, so you aren’t doing it for any other reason to find problems.

I will never understand this behavior from women. They get into these weird dominance games with their kids. My mother did it to me growing up and I saw a lot of myself in that kid. IDK what they think they’re teaching him - what is the purpose of this behavior? Was it always this way?
