You remember 2023 when Ukraine was still “winning” and pounding Crimea brudhe with tons of supplied NATO weaponry? In 2023, Ukraine used NATO-supplied weapons to strike bridges linking mainland Ukraine to Crimea. On June 22 and August 6, Ukrainian forces fired UK-made Storm Shadow cruise missiles at the Chonhar Bridge damaging the road bridge. On July 17, Ukraine attacked the Kerch Strait Bridge using sea drones, which Russian officials claimed were NATO-produced; a NATO official confirmed Ukrainian involvement.
Now Karma came back to Kievs bridges xD
BTW, attacks on Crimea bridges are now ineffective for several reasons. Russia has built multi-layered air defenses and physical barriers (pile walls, barges, decoys) around the Kerch Bridge, making it nearly impregnable. Meanwhile, the bridges strategic value has declined: Russia now supplies its forces via alternative land routes through occupied southern Ukraine, reducing reliance on the bridge. With limited Western missiles and drones, Ukraine cannot overcome these defenses, making further strikes operationally futile.
