Pedal has had a rough but good life. He was cursed with shit genetics, could hardly walk. Jumbo Pekin duck btw. Big white boy with an orange bill. As he grew, his legs just got worse. He was always happy to be in his kiddie pool though. Well tonight, after his time in his kiddie pool swimming, I decided it was time. He couldn’t walk on hard ground and just had a really really hard time doing anything. Had to use his wings to move around, and even then he had a hard time. He was always filthy, couldn’t oil his feathers or preen like he should. He was quite pathetic. Had to put him down. I am so sad about it. I hate killing my animals. RIP Pedal.
