The funniest thing about nazi collaborators is that after they lost, none of them wanted to flee to Spain, despite Spain being ideologically close to them. Instead they went to Peron’s Argentina, a country with strong labor unions, pseudo-leftist economic policy and (since 1955) the same persecution of Catholics as the communist countries did.

What did they even fight for? Why didn’t they flee to their right wing paradise, Franco Spain instead?
