My buddy sends me Instagram links. I have to remind him that there’s a paywall. I never signed up for instagram because I’m not a 13 year old girl. Even in business, people say you need to build your brand on social media. I don’t follow any brands or businesses. Why the hell would I willingly consume the commercials we used to want to skip back in the 90s? Children and young adults semi-consciously ingest marketing. The fuck?

My social media is this website at the ass end of the day, Upgoat, and the images I steal from Funnyjunk, which is an autistic meme site. Anyway, why not consume books? After all, you get what you pay for.

Even on Facebook, you’ll see one post from a family member followed by countless advertisements for bullshit. And all the paragraphs are written to sound exactly like AI. Who’s reading that shit?
