When is AI going to reach the singularity and start developing replicating machines and all that jazz? I personally don’t think we will see it in our lifetime. To me, AI is just a glorified chatbot, but to some people, they fully heartedly believe AI is going to reach the singularity in 2 years. Things they say to back up this claim

AI is reporting conciousness AI is the biggest thing to happen in human history AI is going to write its on code/programs And so on. Also, AI is probably just a Jewish scam to funnel money into a big Ponzi scheme. The sheer hubris of these people that actually believe AI is going to awaken next year, and once you question them, they have a meltdown and act like experts and just say, “Trust the experts, bro.”
