There’s flood damage to the pyramids and evidence of water erosion on the sphinx. Why couldn’t they have been built before the flood and were later re-discovered? There’s no hieroglyphs which explain how they were constructed, no methods or anything of the sort. The Pharaoh’s probably just lied about being the people who built them, otherwise there’d be better documentation of their construction.

Think about it, the only way we’d lose documentation about the processes of making roads, bridges, skyscrapers, microchips, automobiles, airplanes, etc…is if there was a cataclysm. No one who is actively capable of constructing these things would stop describing how to make them…in engineering specs, blueprints, drawings, etc…However, if there was a cataclysm the artifacts of our constructions would remain somewhat intact while our documentation would probably perish.

They didn’t construct them, they found them. No one even knows who built the pyramids because they were wiped out.
