It’s not well known that before Goblin was Goblin, they were Cherry Five. Only one record in 1975, and it rules. It’s a total ripoff of Yes, Genesis, and Gentle Giant, and you can tell it’s intentional. Then they completely switched gears, did all the amazing soundtracks, and that was it. Until I saw on Spotify there’s a record from 2015.It’s the 2 guys who DIDN’T become Goblin, including the original singer. The vocals are horrific, but the guitar player is shockingly good.
